Product description

A 100% natural essential oil blend to help you treat, prevent and alleviate allergic reactions to dust, pollen, mould, animal hair, insect bites and medication.

Allergens most often enter the human body through the nose and then come in contact with the immune system. In the case of allergens, the allergen is mistakenly considered a threat to the body, so the immune system produces immunoglobulin E antibodies that pass into cells that release histamine and other chemicals, causing an allergic reaction. This body protection leads to inflammation and swelling. Allergens cause symptoms in the nose, throat, lungs, ears, stomach or on the skin.

Essential oils are a natural and safer way to boost the immune system. They are also a great choice for treating the symptoms of an allergic reaction, as they have the ability to fight inflammation. Essential oils for allergies help detoxify the body and fight infections, bacteria, parasites, microorganisms and harmful toxins. They reduce the susceptibility of the body to external sources of allergic reactions and reduce the excessive response of the immune system when facing a harmless substance. Some exceptional essential oils even help relieve acute respiratory conditions by increasing sweating and urination thus helping to remove toxins.

Our Special Blend of Essential Oils for Allergies contains Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Cajeput, Lemon and Lavender essential oils.

Peppermint essential oil facilitates expectoration, helping to remove mucus. For those who struggle with allergies, asthma or bronchitis, this oil minimizes inflammation and at the same time promotes a feeling of light breathing through relaxed airways. A study published in the European Journal of Medical Research suggests that treatment with peppermint essential oil has anti-inflammatory effects - it reduces the symptoms of chronic inflammatory disorders such as allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma.

Lavender essential oil is a natural antihistamine and also has anti-inflammatory effects.

Eucalyptus helps to relieve the airways, has antimicrobial properties and kills molds. Eucalyptus contains citronellal, which has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; relieves congestion, helps cleanse the body of toxins and harmful microorganisms that act as allergens.

Lemon essential oil stimulates lymphatic drainage, relieves coughs and helps to overcome acute respiratory conditions. Studies have shown that lemon essential oil fights bacteria and fungi and boosts the immune system by killing bacteria and eliminating allergic triggers in the air.

Cajeput is a type of tea-tree whose essential oil is very effective in killing airborne pathogens that can cause allergies. This oil exhibits antimicrobial activity against a broad spectrum of bacteria, yeasts and fungal infections. When applied to insect bites, this oil reduces redness and swelling.

SAFETY:

Essential oils are generally safe to use in low doses, but never use pure oils on the skin without first diluting. Not suitable for internal use.

Undiluted essential oils can cause burns, inflammation, itching and rashes. To reduce the risk of irritation, dilute essential oils with carrier oils such as jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower or grape oil.

Avoid use on children under 6. If pregnant, breastfeeding or under doctor's supervision, consult a physician before use.

Non toxic, non irritating. Always first perform a patch test to ensure there is no allergic reaction or sensitivity.

Use

For the treatment of seasonal allergies use our essential oil for allergies in the aroma lamp, diffuser or by direct inhalation. If you want to disinfect your household of allergens, add 10 drops of this essential oil with a little bit of white vinegar to 50 ml of water and spray around your home.

If you suffer from an allergic rash, swelling or insect bites, apply this blend directly onto the affected area. You can also dissolve a couple of drops of essential oil in a spoonful of coconut or olive oil and apply.

To treat acute respiratory problems associated with allergies, add 5 drops of essential oil to an aroma lamp (diffuser) or apply the diluted essential oil locally to the chest. To relieve and cleanse the nasal passages, add 10 drops of our essential oil to a large pot or a bowl and fill with boiling water. Lower your head toward the bowl (about 15 centimeters above the bowl to prevent getting burned) and cover your head with a towel. Close your eyes and inhale slowly and deeply through your nose for at least 2-5 minutes. Repeat this procedure as needed.
