SAFETY

Bergamot oil is considered non-toxic but it contains bergaptene, a potentially phototoxic component, therefore the skin should not be exposed to a significant amount of direct sunlight for 72 hours after application. In addition, it is recommended that Bergamot is used only at low concentrations (3% or less in carrier oil) as it may irritate the skin.
